Two of our beloved residents, Ruth and Cortland, have been married for 59 years, and have always dreamed of renewing their vows. On Feb. 14, 2023, Brentwood at Elkhart Independent Living made that dream come true by organizing a special vow-renewal ceremony for the couple as a special Valentine’s Day celebration.
Ruth and Cortland expressed that they are very thankful for the community for putting together such a beautiful ceremony, which included a pastor, harpist, wedding decorations, a private reception, wedding pictures, a vow-renewal certificate, and a chance to celebrate their love with friends and family.
